I am looking for a hotel in Ciudad Kenndy in Bogota. Anyone have any names of hotels in that area that you have seen or tried?

I have been to bogota many times. I am aware of the area. Ciudad Kennedy is where my fiance lives. Also puente aranda would be acceptable, or any where near the tranmilenio line from ciudad kennedy.

But before this post goes in any other direction ... LOL .... know of any hotels near the areas I am am looking at?

SOMENE HAS GOTTA KNOW OF SOME HOTELS ---PLEASEEEEEE

I do got there but not for the reasons you do. I had been only twice in those antros, chuzos etc. Not my kind of fun.

Not risk not fun. People misses a lot for being scare "not taking risks". It is not a risk for me or even some foreigners to go to Kennedy, Bosa, even Ciudad Bolivar. There are nice people and activities all over Colombia not only in the so called safe places.

There is a Hostal right on Av Ciudad de Cali in front of Carefour, the truth is a "decent" safe and clean place for lovers.

At that point to the east is Kennedy and to the west is Patio Bonito, ni es patio, ní es bonito.

Hey Kat, I remember you are from Kennedy. I have spent alot of time in Suba. I know both areas are very large, but would you say they are somewhat similar, as far as safety. I have never actually been to Kennedy, but I would imagine it is, in general, similar to Suba. What is your thinking on that, as far as which you would consider more safe for foreigners, and in general?

and, by the way, I know of no hotels in Suba. Motels, yes, which have a different connotation than in the US, but hotels, no. I like Suba, overall, and I said, it is huge, and not very far from downtown or the north, but I am curious how it compares to Kennedy, if anybody knows that area, which is equally huge. If I had to guess, I would say Kennedy is a bit more poor, and therefore, a bit more dangerous to foreigners, but I'm not sure on that.
