The Dann Carlton is very nice, as well as the Hotel Intercontinental.

I think you would have more fun at a Motel. For a very beautiful and impressive Motel, Paraiso Romano is my recommendation.

As an afterthought, the Motel Paraiso Romano is good for the first night. Get a nice room with an in-room hot tub and sauna on the patio. There's really no place to store your clothes, and it can get expensive after eight hours. It's also kind of in the middle of nowhere a few minutes north of Cali. After that first night, I'd suggest a Hotel in Cali.

The Plaza Versalles is popular with tour groups, and close to the weekend action on Avenida Sexta. Rent the Presidential suite if you want - http://www.hotelplazaversalles.com/english/

The Dann Carlton and the Hotel Intercontinental are business people oriented, and may not be what you are looking for, though both are impressive for Cali.

Pacifico Royal is now Raddison Royal.

The Dann Carlton but be a very good choice. Take her to dinner at La taberna Alemana in the Intercontinental Hotel near to Dann hotel (about COP$ 90.000 including wine for two). And a motel ..... there's nothing like a hotel for any girl here. Motel are the places you take'em when you don't have money. Hotels are the highest level of satisfaction for them.
