njtea5 Have you been there? The Intercontinental? I am certain they have various sizes of rooms. Small? Maybe those are the rooms Gomezman5 was blowing about last week, for $70 per night. But, if you can afford more... the room I stayed in first time last year had an office with internet connection, a living room area (huge), french doors to the sleeping quarters. You could have a party just in the spacious bathroom, if you are so inclined, with whirlpool big enough for two, shower big enough for five or six,...

Yeah. It was great, just for the two of us. Dig deep. Go for it. It's great.

Why Burn Money? I was at 2 hotels in Cali the last 2 months. One was 100,000 pesos a night downtown and the other one was 40,000 pesos and near Calle 6. Really preferred the second one, since there was more to do near the hotel with my GF. We went out for dinner and had a little food before walking around the local strip.

Bring a CD player with a radio in your baggage! It was fun playing the National anthem loudly at 5am!

4 points sheraton This hotel is my favorite when visiting cali. Great rooms, soft beds, free breakfast the next day, walking distance to avenue sexta, and most importantly...they will pick you up and take you to the airport for free!!! just book on their website 14 days in advance and you get great prices. You can get cheaper elsewhere, but i find the safety and free airport service as a huge plus.

Sheraton
Have been there three times, close to Chipi and sexta although about three months ago they didn't have the pool available.

This hotel is a good consideration unlike the Inter you got to pay for cab anywhere you go but it is rather good
