Has anyone here stayed at the Hotel 3 Banderas in Cartagena? It's in the old city in a fairly small colonial house and seems to be near the Santa Clara but on a much cheaper price scale.
Would live to hear the perspective of anyone who's actually stayed there.

Gator says on Jan 18, 2005, 20:36: My Wife Loves It Next to the Hotel Mesopotamia in Villa de Lleva this is one of her favorites-especially the patio with the waterfall. Cost, as near as I can remember, was about 130.000/140.000 COP a night. Great loacation for wandering about the Old Walled City. "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |

piquemacho says on Jan 18, 2005, 22:34: Excellent hotel My girlfriend and I stayed there for six days last August. It's in a fairly central location on a quiet street. I think it is good value compared to other hotels in Cartagena. There are suites with a kitchen (which I think are the prices quoted above) and ordinary double rooms for about 85.000. As I recall, the price includes a good (buffet-style) breakfast. The patio and waterfall are very nice - when I was there, a TV crew recorded an interview with a model or actress sitting in the patio.
