Hi All,
I would like to know of Hotels in or close to the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. I need to know; hotel name, telephone number, address, cost, how close is it to the Embassy, if you used it or any other information you can divulge. My fiancée has her interview on soon and she is from Armenia and has never been to Bogotá.
Thank you,
Peter Miami

alcpa says on Feb 24, 2006, 09:00: Studio 87 We just stayed at a hotel called Studio 87. It wasn´t all that close to the embassy, but it was nice, clean and included breakfast. It was about 20 minutes by taxi from the embassy and cast about $4.00 US each way. It was worth it to us. I tried the apartment route with colombianlodging.com, but he never picked us up at the airport and becuase we got in on a Sunday, he never answered the phone, so we found this place.

Gator says on Feb 24, 2006, 13:40: Is Studio 87... the one on Carrera 15. If so nice safe location and looks nice from the outside. Lots of restaurants. If fact it's about 12/15 block south of where we live in Los Rosalas. Good location to see the north side of Bogotá.
