Hotel near U.S. Embassy

Hi All,

I would like to know of Hotels in or close to the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. I need to know; hotel name, telephone number, address, cost, how close is it to the Embassy, if you used it or any other information you can divulge. My fiancée has her interview on soon and she is from Armenia and has never been to Bogotá.

Thank you,

Peter Miami

Peter my wife used Dona Flors and liked it. They picked her up from the airport and dropped her and it was very close to the embassy (walking distance.)

I recently stayed at Bogota Colombia Lodging www.bogotacolombialodging.com, I rented an apartment but they also had a B & B with rooms. Excellent facilities and service.

Some ladies staying there were going to the U.S. Embassy a few minutes away for visas and were pleased with the help they received from the lodging owner and staff.

I especially enjoyed the owners wife, Luz Aleyda, a beautiful charming lady with a great personality, and was very helpful.

Studio 87 We just stayed at a hotel called Studio 87. It wasn´t all that close to the embassy, but it was nice, clean and included breakfast. It was about 20 minutes by taxi from the embassy and cast about $4.00 US each way. It was worth it to us. I tried the apartment route with colombianlodging.com, but he never picked us up at the airport and becuase we got in on a Sunday, he never answered the phone, so we found this place.

Is Studio 87... the one on Carrera 15. If so nice safe location and looks nice from the outside. Lots of restaurants. If fact it's about 12/15 block south of where we live in Los Rosalas. Good location to see the north side of Bogotá.
