Very nice hotel -- with breakfast 53,000 pesos per person (based on 2 per room). This hotel is on the second square - take the road from Medellin and hang a left at the Y continue into town past the police station into the first square. Then go caty-corner to the next square in front of the church and continue down the one way street and at the next square take an immediate left - the hotel will be on the left. I've been to Santa Fe maybe a dozen times and this is the first time I have stayed at this hotel (but I have walked by it numerous times). The hotel is clean, old Colombia, beautiful, staff very friendly, free wifi. The pool is in excellent condition and the price is great. Note that for another 60,000 pesos it included all 3 meals per day and all the liquor you wanted on the day of arrival (national). 3 blocks walk to the main square - and many new additions in the last 3 months. An awesome bakery on the main square with excellent cakes (picture perfect - this is a new for Santa Fe). What was an old dumpy bar/disco months ago is now a nice, clean, new bakery/coffee shop. Also I was in a disco at night that was incredible - the sound system, lights, fog machines - I had no idea i was in Santa Fe. Met several people to chat with. I will be back at a Finca in Santa Fe for 2 weeks over the holidays.. Larry

Out behind the hotel they built an incredible deck - the view from this sun deck was awesome. We checked this place out too (walked around) and for some reason I don't think they had AC in all the rooms - I could have been mistaken. Larry Snyder, www.rn.org 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Rainman3 says on Nov 26, 2008, 06:00: I spent a weekend here last November with a ladyfriend. The pool area is very nice and so are most of the common areas but I did not think the rooms were very good and whilr the bfast was OK I felt the supper was lacking. But a trip to Santa Fe does make for a chance to capture some great photos. Rainman3 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Cali2005 says on Nov 27, 2008, 15:06: not bad considering santa fe antioquia can be pricey. Colombia hasnt been hit hard by the recession yet. While prices are dropping and travel discounts are being posted in the states nothing has dropped here yet. Medellin Apartments and Tours http://www.MedellinApartments.INFO 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
