hotel in north bogota and airfare

Anyone know of a reasonable hotel in north bogota? Fontana quoted me at $200+, I'd like half that price or less. I saw a hotel that had Rincon in part of the name but no prices or email. My Spanish is limited.

Also, what's a good airfare from Milwaukee to Bogota? It seems a lot of flights land at night, any during the day?

Hotel I can get you in to the Fontana for $80 a night. Or any other hotel or apartment for much lower prices. If you are interested email me colombianpossibilities at yahoo.com

ummm Frankly I agreed with Tinto. Depression in the US isn't really Colombia-related, and Colombia-relation *is* a rule for posts. If you didn't specifically break the rule as it is written, your post was against the spirit of the rule. In your case it also doesn't help that your first-ever post on the Colombia forum isn't actually about Colombia.

Not to dissuade you from PBH, this is really is an interesting and diverse little forum-community. Stick around and follow the longer threads - you'll see how silly (and off-topic) things can turn but they rarely start out off topic.

So yes, welcome to PBH :)

I doubt that this "Colombiabusiness" poster isn't just ignoring the rules becuase they don't know them (as I believe was your case), I think they know them and have been trying to fly low.

I paid $50 a night at Horel Dann Norte which I found to be comfortable, with very good breakfasts included in the price. A very convenient location though. The rates are probably a little higher at the moment but should still be in your budget.

It wasn't my first post...but i had not read the rules. And if you guys knew how to read you would have probably seen that I was talking about colombians who get depressed in the United States. And I only started it because of the other thread in which someone is going to get a divorce, take the kids back to Colombia without permission, just because she feels depressed and has nobody to help her, for all her family is in Colombia.

I have been reading this for a week... i know things go aout of subject. I even met another PBH here in New york and we went out for coffee... and I didn't know the rules, nor was I trying to do any business...plus I've only been nice whenever I have participated in any disscussion..and I have helped some people with their questions, except the one about rasicm and stuff in which people got really out of hand...

so sorry for thinking about children in schools ( colombian or not)getting medicated... That was really nasty on my part.

Guess you have to be part of the clique.

Apparently a lot of people have been talking about depression around here. Check out the other thread... so it wasn't that far fetched.
