Hotel in Bogota for 80-90,000 pesos?

Any decent hotels??, only need a quiet place to sleep , and decent bathroom, I spend little time in room.
I know Colombians do not waste money on 180,000 pesos a night rooms.

Specify the location, with Andino and Unicentro as a piont of reference.

Thank you

There is a hotel on the corner of Calle 53 and Cra 13, looks shite but the people in reception always look really happy. Costs about 55k per night

From Andino it is a buseta south on Cra 11 which becomes 13, about 30 blocks.

there is a lot of hotels at this price, a 3 or may be 2 stars hotel

In andino, Unicentro, Chicó, rosales or in the North, are 4 and 5 stars hotels. Are the more Luxury and Expensive Hotels, There are over your budget.

Look near av esperanza, downtown, or near to US embassy, there are Affordable rates, and Good service for you are paying without excesive luxury.

Yes LA_LOVE, I agree, a 3 star is fine, and it should be aroud 80-90,000 pesos, problem is I have no names, or website addresses. I have tried the generic interent hotel websites, but do not really trust them, and still most lower priced ones are $60-70 USD.

Only local knowledge will help with this question.

I also believe there are some in the northern sector, I recall 8 years , I stayed in a converted large house, that created 10-12 rooms w/bathrooms, and it was 50-60,000 pesos.

You mean HOTEL EL DIAMANTE. I think it is a little bit more expensive (75k). I stayed there one time 2 weeks and it is ok....
Did you know that the paid murders (Sicarios) who killed GALAN in Soacha stayed at this hotel the night before the shoot him?

Other Hotel. EL CAMPIN also in Galerias.....

Hotel Laguna Plaza 75 - 80,000 a night with a little kitchen and 15 minute easy walk to Andino.

Investment Strategy - buying when others are crying!! Offloading when others are gloating!!!

Yes this it... The hotel is ok... The last time I stayed there (2007) they had rooms from 65k till 85k... They have 3 "suites" on the top level with 2 different rooms... these are good... bargain the price....

APARTAHOTEL LAGUNA PLAZA 75 (in the chapinero section) is in a fairly neat spot. 1 block from Calle 76 TM station, right near Metro and Pilotos bars where it is friendly but they sometimes forget to put the beer in the fridge. You can walk to Andino from there in 10 mins, and busetas going up la 15 mostly go to Unicentro. Since you appear to be going to Bogotá for shopping centres you also have CC Av Chile about 5 mins away too.
