JulianUSA says on Jan 12, 2008, 12:11: Hum.....this sounds a little odd for me. Why would a company look for workers in other countries to do maintenance work. This sounds like a scam to me. Julian Garcia 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Robert Jorge says on Jan 12, 2008, 21:27: There are legitimate companies in the US that do this. Destin, Florida is full of south and central Americans, as well as eastern Europeans working in the service industries - hotels, restaurants, etc. Anyway, the example posted here may be a scam. But it could also be legit. BEWARE of gold diggers. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

This is a no brainer. There is no such thing as an "Immigration Clearance Certificate" in Canada. In Canada, the "Clearance certificate" is the police certificate issued by the applicant's country of residence. I am certain that Colombia does not change $215 for their police certificates. I am sure that upon the first phone call to Omni Royal, they will ask for the $215 up front.
