I'm going to be in Medellin soon, enjoying Colombia and trying to improve my medical Spanish. I currently work in a hospital in the US, and I'm looking into volunteering for a hospital in Medellin preferably, for one that would be comparable to a county-type hospital. Looking at the Paginas Amarillas, I've figured out which hospitals are the money-makers, but which ones cater to the poor, underserved colombians?

lzvrsn says on Nov 17, 2007, 14:34: Thanks for the information. I'm an ER nurse in California. I make an extended trip to South America every year to do some sort of volunteer work. Colombia is the next country on my list, and I can't wait. I would greatly appreciate any hospital contacts...
