Hoping to post more

I have posted several times, but now that I have proposed marriage, and will very very likely be moving to Bucaramanga, I am hoping to post more.

Once I go through this transformation of life, lifestyle, finances, visas, etc., I hopeI will be able to help others.

My name is Tony. My fiance's name is Sandra, and we welcome all comments.

P.S My Spanish is sub par to say the least, but I am certain it is about to ramp up quickly!!

I travel a lot, but will probably start traveling from BGA as my home base next Spring. I'll probably be back in BGA another 3 times in 2007. We live in the San Francisco part of BGA. How about you Adrienne? Is your family in the States? What do they all think? I am sure of my love for Sandra, but sooooooo uncertain of the future. Everybody back home thinks I am insane!

I don't have time for a long comment now, nicadj. But good luck and congratulations. I moved to Colombia last year for a while, and my family was very hush hush about it. A lot of my friends thought I was insane also. Talk to you soon. Rob

Hmm, I'm not sure what neighborhood it is...I know Provenza is in the address so I guess that would be it? We are actually going to be staying with his family for a little while until we can get settled and get our own place. I'm still waitiing for my house to sell here in TX also so it wouldn't be too smart just yet to be on our own. Yes, all my family is in the states but we are all spread out. My mom and sister are not the least bit suprised. I was an exchange student to Ecuador in HS so me now venturing to Colombia is something I have always wanted. Now, my dad is another story. He only hears the neg of Colombia and believs all of it. I think he is really worried. My firends all think I am crazy too but who cares, I know I am making the best choice for me and I hope I love it there!!!

Nope, not married yet. We will go to San Andres to do that to avoid a huge headache. I'm keeping my US accounts for now.
