Home/Student Accomodation in Bogota

Hola! I'm going to be studying spanish in Bogota for 2.5 weeks at the end of Sept and I'd ideally like to arrange some accomodation with some local students to keep working on the language and also to make some friends! It would be great to discover the city and it's nightlife with others rather than solo! Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do this or if it's even possible e.g. are students back in town?, would there normally be any room for an extra body?, is there anywhere I could put up an internet posting for this?
Failing this, I believe home stays are easier to arrange, is it just best to organise this through the language school or are there alternatives?
