Not hardly, but more then the USA due to religious holidays.

That was Ascension Day actually May 20 but celebrated May 25. Yep, I went to church with the wife and three sisters.Here is a list of official holidays:

Aug 7 Battle of Boyaca, Aug 15* Assumption, Oct 12* Dia de la Raza (Columbus Day), Nov 1* All Saints' Day, Nov 11* Independence of Cartagena, Dec 8 Immaculate Conception, Dec 25 Christmas Day.
When you see * it means when they do not fall on a Monday, these holidays are observed the following Monday.
