Hold music

Every single business i've called in Colombia has circus-style hold music. What's the deal with that? It's the same exact music!

No it´s real bad. The secretary type in our office prefers to go speakerphone when put on hold, so I get a good sampling. The other day I heard what could only have been described as babies singing. Really makes you miserable.

I get the same thing here when I call my friends at the companies I used to work for such as AT&T, Lucent and Level 3. Bring out the clowns and not just the Colombian ones!!!
