litost says on Apr 6, 2004, 17:21: I'm not sure if it's the same as DSL, but there is definitely high speed non-telephone line internet, usuall refered to as "fibra optica"... it can be pretty expensive by colombian standards, but no big deal if you think and earn in US$. It is available in all the big cities and is probably spreading fast, usually offered by the local telecommunications providers or by the cable provider (offering combos).

I understand that they have GSM pre paid cellular networks down there and I hope I could get online that way? Anybody knows any good pre paid cell cards to buy? and do they offer internet?
