Hey y'all

Hey y'all, I was just wondering if there are any other "gringos" residing in the lovely pueblo of Barranquilla. I married a local gal last April, and we have been living here together every since. The problem is that she, nor any of her family or friends, speak english. Every once and a while I would like to have a conversation in English. If anyone out there is in the area and would like to meet for a beer or BBQ please drop me a line. It would be nice to meet some fellow¨"gringos" in the area. I´m also looking for tips on how to properly and legaly go about buying property in Colombia. I do have a resident visa.

I like that last line soccerstud, ja ja.

I think flaming queens would go great at a BBQ. When I cook everything is flaming anyway. ja ja

The site attracts people interested in Colombia period. I think that in some cases that is just about the only thing that some of us have in common. Think about it, we get students working on projects, Colombian ex-pats, Businesses travellers, other travellers, and many others.

It's very interesting to me becuase I realise every now and then that the chances of me actually sitting down in RL to have a discussion with some of the people who post here would never happen, becuause I would likely never get to know them.

Adrimm, u be suprise the ease of.. meeting posters in person on this site. In my travels to COL, i've met Spigramace, viewpoint, tone2loc, andyny, paisa29, papacito, colombiaboard, chris66, and a few others that dont post alot. All the ones i've met are similar to their online personality, all are very nice, cool, and helpful individiuals. and I've partied with most of them one time or another.

I like to meet someday Elmo, but unfortunately i cant see myself travelling to BAQ because the weather is SOOOO HOT!!!
