Didn't want to wait to figure out how to post fotos on this board.
Ladies you can check out what young good COL guys are like(i'm sorry I don't have any of them in knickers, BUT They are in UNIFORM!)
Reina, as you can see they are young, good looking, and quiet friendly.
I'll post some more fotos later after I reduce size. of other areas and what some strata 4 & 5 look like.

ReinaDeLa Baile says on Dec 7, 2004, 16:20: well, that was a quick trip! Thanks for the nice photos - I like how green the city is - what a gret combination of plants, archirecture and people. My father lived in Bogota in the 40's and he used to talk about it fondly, before he died - now I see why.

caslug says on Dec 7, 2004, 16:42: That cart was going.. right down the main street Calle 7 or something, i had to take a pic of it. At least the driver went in the right(slow) lane. I don't recall seeing a sight like that in Cali or CTG.

kernow62 says on Dec 7, 2004, 19:25: I saw plenty in Bogotá. The scary thing is they will pull off to the side but still in traffic and sit in front of the cart and eat an emanada or something, they even do this at night. I kept thinking someone would hit them.

kernow62 says on Dec 7, 2004, 20:23: Wow were you doing shrooms when you took that Strata 4 pic. I think it is a little wacked out, everything is skewed. Kind of like one of those funhouse mirrors.

caslug says on Dec 7, 2004, 20:32: it's the unique COL architecture.. J/K it's my digitial camera speed. Took the foto as the taxi was moving, digital camera has a slower shutter speed than conventional camera.

ACBlessing says on Dec 8, 2004, 08:07: Camera recommendation The Sony U30 and U50 are both excellent cameras because they fit inside the palm of your hand (ultra tiny) or on a necklace...great for not drawing attention. Just plain poor 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

THanks for the compliments guys, next time i go i'll take more fotos of normal bars, clubs, restaurant. I'm a city guy myself, so I enjoy the urban stuff more than the nature stuff.

Nacholoco says on Dec 8, 2004, 18:33: something about that pic The one with the strato 4 houses maybe its an optical illusion but it sems like the house is about to tilt and fall on the pedestrian, ANYBODY CATCH THIS? Junior de Barranquilla CAMPEONES PARA SIMEPRE 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Lionheart says on Dec 8, 2004, 19:43: must be the camera I have a cheap Vivitar too ... walmart bought as well ... $50 because it was last one in a messed up box. I noticed that when I take pics with a lot of straight lines in it they seem to warp, especially when taken at an angle. I assume the software is trying to compensate for the pixel stepping of the straight lines, but is doing a very poor job at it.

caslug says on Dec 8, 2004, 20:01: cheap camera.. is right, when i got it i figure i wasn't going to try to do any fancy shooting(ie, professoinal grade) so i opt to go cheap. That whay if i lost a camera AGAIN(lost one in JUNE) then I wouldn't too bum. But the camera is not good for moving targets or moving shots, but it's very acceptable for standard still shots.
