here in colombia

arrived last week in bquilla and navigated to rodadero sucessfully. i have a ton of fotos to upload a few adventures to write about when i get a better chance.

so far i have been impaled by sea urchins in tayrona.

poisioned at playa blanco.

dar papaya when little snorkeler wanted to go for the HO Derik look.

i am navigating well with my spanish and have been accused of being argentino or various other south american countries.

i performed oral surgury on my wife in the bathroom in the houston airport

i was able to commucincate well enough to obtain medicine for myself and my little snorkeler.

all in all it has been a pretty good trip so far and i will write some detailed trip reports later.

soon to come...a tale of two titties...and the adventures listed above.

will be arriving in rio negro at 9.30 tonight and navigating to medellin...sad to say i won T be able to play my new game i have invented for passing time on longer taxi and bus rides...moto yatzee...i ll fill you in on the rules later.

oh yeah...if travelling to rodadero don t plan on your atm card functioning at all...that is a whole nother adventure. in rodadero sin plata....

i am the only foking person in all of the airport in bermuda shorts and short sleeve shirt..jejeje

my guess is it's the water the rice is cooked in.

My good friends ate raw shrimp ceviche there, luckily I did not. I felt bad for them being so sick for 24/48 hrs.

I always eat Mojarra at Playa Blanca and never have problems. Actually, a bunch of us where there and we were at the 2nd covered place from the right and we filled up half the guys tables. Most of us ate fish but a couple had chicken and a lot of beers. That is one of my favorite afternoon things to do (walk over the mountain and eat there)..

Also, I what bank where you using in Rodadero that wasn't working? I used the ATH ATM on KR 3 - it's two shops down from scuba diving place. I haven't had any problems in quite a while (using the Capital One ATM card). No ATM of foreign transaction fees..
