I finally got some papers translated. Now the next step is to do the Immigration thing. I got the I-130's for my wife and her daughter along with the supporting documents. I'm kinda anxious to get the whole thing done so that they come to the states soon. Tomorrow (Fri) I'm going to mail off the packets to Texas. With how they're sending everything to California lately will help get the process done faster.
BTW: I know that we're going to have to pay for the Med Exams and I'm thinking the Biometrics (Fingerprinting) fee... What else was there? I'm thinking I forgot something somewhere.

It is now May 4th and I have heard nothing...nada, nada, nada as my wife would say. I have read on this site of guys getting their fiances approved in 4 weeks in California. It sucks.

Dan says on May 6, 2005, 02:09: On their info site. They are working on the petitions from Feb 28th or so. That's a little over two months. I would think that they would be working on something soon. I have to keep telling my wife that she needs more patience as she has next to none, haha. The info sites still show that they're faster in California than the K3 visas are going right now. God Bless America! |

Dan says on May 14, 2005, 10:55: Update. On the 6th of May, I sent off the petitions for my wife and her daughter. I looked at the tracking number with USPS and saw that it got to TX on the 9th and then it showed that it was forwarded to CA on the same day and delivered in CA on the 11th. Now, the wait. Now, I hope this part goes smoothly. God Bless America! |
