quantum says on Aug 10, 2008, 21:42: Wow, didnt realize, apart from Gabriel Garcia and Shakira that so many of Colombias notables have been and are Costeño. Very instructive! Yep, the coast has it all, from the beaches and surf to snow covered sierras not to mention the architecural woonder of Cartagenas old city. But the rest of Cartagena, (excluding the touristy beach areas) leaves a lot to be desired and needs a good cleanup. Could apply some of that administrative genius that governs the old city to the rest of the city and Barranquila as well from what i saw.
