Help!Could i do a cheap but nice travel from Medellin to pasific coast?

Hi guys!I'd like to visit the pacific coast of Colombia with my girlfriend than going to the atlantic coast that i have visited already. The Gorgona island seems great but expensive as well.I herd that is better to fly than going through the road since it could be dangerous (activities of paramilitars and Gorillas?)
I'd like to spend around 1000 millions pesos for me and my girlfriend for around 5 days.Do you think its possible or we would have to sleep in some shite places and take risks??The travel plans seems much more expensive.Do we need to do an injection to be protected from illnesses? Are there cheap and nice hotels in this area for a couple? Are there any tourist facilities? What are your suggestions?Which could be the best choice we could have for these amount of money?I hope it would be some sun (i herd is one of the most rainy places in south america) and we wont feel isolated. Thanks in advance!

keep out of the mist and you shouldn't run into many Gorillas.

With 1000 million pesos, you could do a circuit complete around South America with her over a span of a few years, and still have enough left over to take high tea with the gorillas in west Africa.

nategator, I'm not sure how extensive your experience has been in Colombia, but I get a sense that it'd be good to tell you to think carefully about your decision here. The Pacific Coast is not going to be anything like the Caribbean - especially in terms of security. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but think it through. And for future reference, it's guerrilla not Gorilla.

Thanks for your answers.Ok the problem is that in the tourist agencies they ask like 1,5 milions pesos just for 1 person for 5 days! With these money i could go to the best resort in San Andres island. So how could i do it for me and my girlfriend just for 1000?But do i have to fly to get there or there is a bus?Does it worth it to go by bus (if there is) or i need to take a flight from Medellin? Can i do some of the coast and also Gorgona island with this money?Would it be dangerous to cary cameras? Is it safe?Would i find normal hotel in reasonable prices or everything is dirty and crap?Do i need to make a reservation in advance or i could get more options and better prices when i get there? If i fly where is better Nuqui or Bahia Solano or Gorgona island?Or i could fly to Gorgona take a ship to Bahia Solano or Nuqui visit tambien one of these places and after take a flight back from Nuqui or Bahia Solano to Medellin?Which company?
So which would be the best solution? If anybody of you have traveled recently there and can propose a good and cheap plan i would be more than pleased to read it.Gracias!

Mac
