Help Please

Hi
need some info on over staying my visa. Basically my ticket out of here is 2 days after my visa expires. Do i have to extend for two days, is there a big fine, or would they wave it for 2 days?????
DAS told me there is a big fine, but who knows if what those monkeys say is true?
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks

NO, what you have to do is go to Calle 100 in Bogotá....and ask for you 2 extra days, and they would give you the extra time for sure... mmmm and I don´t know if you are in medellín, how it works

I've been to DAS in BOG and secured a few more days on a tourist visa without fees, forms or waiting, (NOTE: up to 182 days for the given calendar year). Not a day more.

Tejas, I doubt tal wants to pay that much for 2 days. In any event the visa hasn't expired yet.

What kind of visa?

DAS might give you a 2 day extension without cost or doing all the normal requirements for an extension.

But, you HAVE to take care of this at one of their offices. Do not just show up at the airport without taking care of it.

Make nice and smile and you will, in all probability, get a two day extension gratis. Be prepared to answer, plausibly, why you were late.

You do want to have it refreshed
go to the DAS office, get an extention. I think it'll costs you 70.000 pesos (500.000 less than I needed to pay).
