I am now in Northern Canada visiting my dad for Christmas. It is so cold here that your lose the feeling in your fingers and chest feels like it is on fire from breathing in the cold air. The snow is beautiful though so it really feels like Christmas. I long for the spring - like weather of Medellin or Cali or Bogota or wherever else in Colombia.
If you are in Colombia, be thankful you are not freezing your butt off like me. I am going to have a couple of rums right now to heat up.

utopiacowboy says on Dec 22, 2004, 12:27: Having a white Christmas, eh? I've decided that my Colombian stepkids would be better off in Canada than Texas. They had the g#*d&*% air conditioning on the other night! During the summer they whined non-stop about the heat and here they are claiming they've lived in Monteria for the last 4 years. If I didn't know better I would think they were imposters posting on Internet sites. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
