Hi friends,
My name is Noble, I was born in India, Mumbai and after 25 years I found my TRUE LOVE in Dubai a Colombian National, I love her more than my life and want to start a life with my angel, but she had to go back to Colombia and I moved to the UK. I am visiting her for christmas and I want to ask her parents for our marriage. And I want to surprise her... As I am an indian I know I require a lot of documentation and I want to take her to the UK where we start our new life.
MY QUESTIONS
Can I get married in Colombia?( I have only 1 week)
What are the documents I need to get married in Colombia?
Do I have to put a advertisement in local newspaper?
Do I have to do a church marriage or a court marriage?
My Colombian Friends!!! who are reading this your help will be appreciated.
kind regards
Noble

Robert Jorge says on Oct 19, 2006, 21:06: Just to get married as a start, you could get married on San Andres. It is a Colombian territory or department. They only require your passport, and her (Colombian's) cedula and RECENT copy of birth certificate showing no current "married" status. It is easy compared to the mainland, but is 100% legal and recognized internationally as a legit marriage. He who farts in church, sits in his own pew. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
