Help! Cali Nightlife, Salsa lessons!

Will be on vacation in Cali for a month starting next week! What are the best clubs night spots to hit up in Cali? This is kind of sad, but I can't dance to salsa!!!;( I try..haha;) I thought a fun thing to do would be to take some dance lessons while in Cali on vacation. Any dance schools to recommend? I live in Tokyo and go to clubs all the time...just not salsa! Any ideas? I am also into electronic music...hear DJ Tiesto was just in Cali. Any good dance music clubs?
