HELP - Can't find a post :(

Hola a todos!

I've been trying to find a post doing all manner of searches but have been
unsuccessful, so I'm wondering if anyone can help me.

Somebody wrote a post a couple of months ago here where they gave links to
a forum in Spanish, which had lots of pictures of Medellín, Cartagena,
Barranquilla and some other cities--there was a link for each city. Does
anyone remember what I'm talking about??

Thanks for your help.

Michael

The only one I recall is skyscrapercity.com but I think the site is in English. Probably not the site you were looking for, but it has a good many photos of each city.

Kernow, that's the one! ...I think :o) Well, the thread was in English so I presumed
the whole site was, too. Does anyone remember the actual post that was made on here? The
guy provided about five or six links to skyscrapercity.com...

Michael while you are on skyscrapercity.com check out some of the Chinese cities, they are building some beautiful cities right now, building 24 hours a day 7 days a week. China has been through some terrible natural disasters, one of which dwarfs even the recent tsunami. The city of Tangshan is an amazing piece of reconstruction after an earthquake destroyed every building and killed a quarter of a million people, the Chinese set about building a well designed modern city that its residents seem to love.

I hate to say it but China's century is about here. US has been the leader for about 50 years now, these cycles usually don't last much longer than 100 years.

Santiago in Chile is a beautiful city too, it helps that it has a lovely natural location much like Bogotá and Medellin.

I don't, define "leader"; that is what the world says about the US. It has been the worlds largest economy and military power since the end of WW2. It doesn't have anything to do with leadership.

Unless you take Europe as a single economic unit the US is still the most powerful economy. If you take Europe as a whole though the US lags behind in several areas. The US used to have the most fortune 500 companies etc. but Europe has moved ahead for the time being. This also has nothing to do with income or quality of life for citizens.

I don't expect Europe or the US to outpace China.

Now who weighs more all the people in the US combined or all the people in India? Break out the calculators. ja ja

This poor fellow needs to cock his leg and relieve himself and you are talking about the great well of China or something? He needs to find a post in Medellín, Cartagena, Barranquilla and some other cities, and quick!
