Hello guys, little old me again :[ (planning my trip)

I am very happy to tell you that i have finally booked my flights so i am now in the process of planning my trip and need your help... you guys are amazing and have helped me out quite a lot and who better to ask than you guys? Do any of you know where I could go during my 3 months in Colombia? I really want to go to some small towns but I have no idea where or which ones are the best to visit. I want to know if there's something especial going on during the months of April, May and June...

Any good nightclubs and bars to hang out (doesn’t matter the type of music they play I’m pretty much into anything these days) especially in Cali,

Places to go shopping for clothes in Medelling, Bogota, Manizales and Cali

Any good places to take my little daughter out

Good places to eat

And last but not least do any of you know how much it is to go to San Andres? I’ve heard of a package deal for 7 days or something like that with flights and hotel included.

san andres package deal I have just come back from a package deal for santa marta it cost me and my wife a total of 360 pounds for 6 nights. San Andres which I looked in to costs about the same well from 330 to 360 pounds. IT may becheaper to book the flight and then book the hotel, as we were told by a relative that he could book us in a good hotel for 50 pounds for 5 nights. The flight will cost about one hundred pounds. After 3 or 4 nights you may want to move on. Santa Marta has more options and 7 nights may be more realistic. Remember that these places are paked with people on the beach constantly walking along one after the other trying to sell you things. Having said that these places are beautiful and you will enjoy them

Parque Jaime Duke? I enjoyed it when I visited it as a kid, but haven't been back since so can't say if it is now a "has been" place to go.

Oh, it's near Bogota, not too far from a little town called Guatavita.

more info There is one book you have to buy that is the Colombia lonely planets book. I hvae always travelled with these guide books all over the world. They are the best. The Colombia guide is a bit thin as they will not sell many copies. I would recommend Villa de Vellva 4 hours drive north of Bogota it is a small village with outstanding beauty. Stay for 2 nights. Cartegena has amazing old architecture. One travel writer said it is the first or second most beautiful town in South America.

if you're gonna be in medellin...... definitely go to llano grande. it's about an hour or less away. you can take your daughter to tutucan, it's a confama theme park and she'll love it. on friday nights the party starts in san antonio. it lasts all weekend. fun for both you and your husband. children are welcome as well...everybody has 'em.

for clothes in medellin. the best shopping center is oviedo. next, san diego. or, go to envigado and visit my sister's shop, 'nudos'. her name is doris and she or one of the other sisters, marta, monica, marilou will point you to the very hippest places. they're really wonderful gals. the tel # there is 276-5272.

another nice pueblo to visit is el retiro. it's safe and cool. one for parties is maranilla. maranilla has more clubs per sq ft than any other pueblo i know. but you'll want some company to party there. it's fun, it's great, lots of cool folks, but the outlaws like to party there also. the reader has been warned.

if you have a long weekend, take the family to sante fe de antioquia. very nice, about a two hour drive from medellin. real antioquia.

have fun
