Does this have to be translated into english by an official translator or could I do it myself. Also what other certificate might be needed.

Documents sent to the embassy can be in English or Spanish. The only apostilles I ever needed were on US documents for Colombian authorities such as the notaria. gatorgt says on Dec 13, 2006, 20:40: Translater in Medellin Does anyone know a person in Medellin who can translate some documents from english to spanish and vice versa. The documents do not need to be apostillized. I only need them translated by someone who is conversant in english and can sign a form attesting to this and that they have translated the documents to someone and that the other person understood what was being translated to them. I would prefer someone like an english teacher but anyone would do. Thanks a lot.
