well...after 20 questions my wife(pr canadin) and i can now visit and fly through u.s. air space...took about 4 months to book an apointment with the u.s. embassy in calgary and a special trip there ...and 150 can bucks..so she could travel through the u.s. As she had a canadian husband and canadian daughter i suppose they finally figured she was not a threat with her colombian passport.
Also managed to obtain a work visa to canada for a colombian friend of my wife for work in my business...this will be colombian no 2 ive brought to canuckville for work...the first one is working out great and is happy in her job..now working on a third and have plans to and the okay to bring a fourth worker....all in all not a bad deal for the workers as flights ...accomodations etc are all taken care off they can pocket some money and they get to travel and exsperience a different country.
Not such a bad deal for me either as my house is beginning to fill up will atractive colombian ladys..(im only interested in my wife) but actually its a lot of fun...
been away for a while so i thought id pop in and say hello....
visiting colombia again in sept....

jinksmiester says on May 17, 2008, 00:02: My wifes visa (tourist visa) is good for ten years...she will have canadian citizenship in about 1.5 years so she likley won,t need it once she gets a canadian passport but a least she will have it if for any reason they question it.... ya.for sure i,ll use up my AAlines credit and it will be the only time i ever fly that airline again..ive tryed phoning...writing them ..faxing them etc and no way to talk or get a response from anyone.I prefer to fly through the u.s and spend a day or two on my way to colombia so it will be nice to be able to do that.
