Have a nice summer!

I'm off to the Finnish bush for five weeks leaving in just a few hours; going to rough it without the benefits of the modern civilization, just sauna baths and swimming in the lake, long walks in the deep forests (beware bears), eating unprocessed foods, talking to my sisters and brothers late in the evenings, tucking in my mama and perhaps touring a little southeaster Finland with my "half of a car" and my big-mouth gringo bro from Utah...

Well, there's a dial up connection at my sister's and since I'll be visiting her every day and feeding her chicken while she herself is off with her hubby fishing salmon in the Lofoten, Norway so I'll keep checking on your guys every now and then.

Hey, dial up is not the end of the world. For things like pariticipating in PBH....there is no real difference between dial and broadband connection. If you are not downloading, what is a a second or two to post a message. Besides, my MSN connection is consistently betwee 49 and 52k

Anyway, enjoy mother and mother nature. I wish you could send me some salmon too. I love the way here in Chicago they sell "Fresh Norweigian Salmon" . Except it is "farm raised". But it is only $5.99 a pound. The real stuff from your neck of the woods is about $22.00 a pound. And by the time it gets here, how fresh is it?

Anyway, my dear, enjoy your time off. You may not have gotten your sabatical, but at least you got valuable time with mom.

Keep in touch with us all and stay away from the bears and like creatures.
