Has Anyone Moved from One Colombian City to Another?

I did a search and I can't find answer on PBH. I am moving from Bogota to Medellin and I need a moving company with at least a 20 foot van to take my things.

I've heard that Rojas Trasteos of Bogota is a reliable company. Anyone used another company?

After two years of living here I'm not naive about the pitfalls of such an undertaking. Any tips, tricks, or traps to share?

It might be a good idea to travel together / follow the truck very closely. I know there is a lot of theft from truck drivers but I don't know anything about the moving companies.

What I have, I do not want to lose, but Where I am I do not want to stay, but those I love, I do not want to leave, but those I know I no longer want to see, but Where I die, I do not want to go;I want to stay where I have never been

I've missed a few

You've got at least one ID for every day of the month. Can you get it shut down again or what? Peter promised no duplicate ID's. Sobre todo.

When I moved I found a truck driver I knew, hired 3 other workers and stayed with the crew all the way

That sounds like wise advise Grigoloid, if you insist on moving away from my home away from home. I know, Bogota has gotten way too expensive. I don't know if they actually planned that around my coming there. jaja

admittedly, arriving can feel great too

Try Saferbo or TCC. They are big companies with good reputation. Saferbo is usually cheaper.
No tips required, they are regular workers. Or maybe you want to give the guys that pick up your stuff something, although they are not used to it.

Trasteos Cedritos is a good option and cheap too, when I moved to Medellín I used their moving services and it was good. Trasteos Cedritos 6096296/2749948. www.trasteoscedritos.com.
But guys here is not like in the US that they enter and pack everything for you. You have to do it by yourself and then give all the boxes and stuff to these guys. But maybe if you want someone to pack call to Rojas Trasteos is a very solid company 5337300 www.rojastrasteosservicios.com
