HACE APROXIMADAMENTE UN MES, UN JOVEN DE 25 AÑOS, TRABAJADOR POR LOS LADOS DEL DAS EN CALI, DECIDIO IR A ALMORZAR A SU CASA, LLAMO A SU MAMA PARA QUE CONTARA CON EL PARA EL ALMUERZO, SALIO DE LA EMPRESA DONDE TRABAJABA Y PASO LA AVENIDA 3 NORTE, POR LOS LADOS DE LA BRASA ROJA, AHI SE PUSO A ESPERAR EL BUS, CUANDO UNA SEÑORA BIEN VESTIDA, CARGADA CON UNAS BOLSAS Y UNA CAJA LE PIDIO EL FAVOR DE QUE LE AYUDARA A AGARRAR UN TAXI, EL JOVEN, ASINTIO, CUANDO VIO A UN TAXI QUE SE APROXIMADA LE PUSO LA MANO Y AYUDO A LA SEÑORA A SUBIRSE AL TAXI, DESDE AHI EN ADELANTE........... NO RECUERDA NADA MAS, ERA UN DIA DE QUINCENA, COMO ERA MEDIO DIA, EN LA EMPRESA DONDE TRABAJABA NO LE PAGARON PORQUE DESPUES DE MEDIO DIA NO VOLVIO A SU PUESTO DE TRABAJO, SU FAMILIA AL VER QUE NO APARECIA LO BUSCA POR TODO LADO SIN DAR CON EL PARADERO.

ORACIONES DE LA MAMA, PIENSE UD, LO QUE QUIERA, UNOS POLICIAS QUE ESTABAN EN TULUA VIERON A UN HOMBRE TIRADO EN LA CALLE COMO UN MENDIGO, Y PENSARON A ESTE ES LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE LO VEMOS POR AQUI, LLEVEMOSLO A UNA CLINICA, GRACIAS A DIOS LE HABIAN DEJADO LOS PAPELES, ASI PUDIERON IDENTIFICAR AL JOVEN, CUANDO LA MAMA FUE POR EL LA MENTE EN BLANCO, HOY DESPUES DE MES Y MEDIO, ESTA APRENDIENDO A HABLAR Y A CAMINAR, SE ENCUENTRA RECLUIDO EN LA CLINICA DE OCCIDENTE, SEGUN CUENTA LA SEÑORA MADRE, LA POLICIA LE MANIFESTO QUE CON ESTE CASO YA ES EL TERCERO EN MENOS DE UN MES EN LA AVENIDA TERCERA NORTE. POR FAVOR HAGA CIRCULAR ESTE MENSAJE, MAÑANA PUEDE SER USTED O SU HIJO

Lots of information on this site about it. Scary shit man, I saw it mentioned in lonely planet a few years back, but didn't know it was this serious. Everyone should know too look out for it, if there was any way.

very informative those videos but the prick presenting it makes colombia sound like you get shot on every corner and everyone tries to push you drugs!

"1 in 3 kidnappings in the world occurs in Colombia" -- What the f***k?? it wasnt even that bad in the 80s! there are more kidnappings in Mexico and in Brazil I reckon.

anyways, Wiki's got some info as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scopolamine

you guys are nuts. do you have any idea how many people the U.S. has? There are more kidnappings and murders in the USA than anywhere in the world. Hell, there are more kidnappings in Detroit in one month than in all of colombia in a year. where do you guy get your stats form the Weekly World News? http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/ This is where Cassini and his pals get their information from. The newspapaer is for trolls, by trolls, and written by trolls.

common rikito......sure we got more than our share....but the 'pacific' india has ten or moretimes the murders we do...and china? what about africa? and no where near the kidnappings.

i lived in colombia in the '80's and you're right, it was hoppin with killings and kidnappings, they used to say, "a man a minute". really wild. now, as you know, things have changed, the turf has moved, the capos live in other countries, like miami, switzerland, etc. and their lackeys do the toils. and the turf wars are now relagated to the selva. i guess they just got tired of fucking mother colombia up so bad. now it's the shoot out in the jungle.

Yes, the US is VERY DANGEROUS!! Lets all start this rumor, so that maybe it will slow the astronomical numbers of people that are coming to the US by any possible means, legal or illegal.

for sure, mongo, with politicians on every corner and promising free trade and free lunch and butt f*****g everyone in the bargain.....yes, this is becoming the most dangerous place on earth. if you come here, don't bend over--tell all tourists---and if you do, beware.
