I have heard so many good things about Bogota lately. People who have been there recently have said how much the city has changed as far as organization and architectural design is concerned.
They talked about how the Transmilenio has changed the city and how good Bogota looks now. I just want to know if somebody has visited Bogota recently and if it is true that the city has improved a lot and looks twenty times better than what it did 10 years ago.

thur says on Nov 25, 2005, 12:02: Sure. Last July I was in Bogotá and it's nice. The Transmilenio bussystem makes travel in the city wayyy faster than on ordinary buses, but can get very crowded. Many new/larger roads, pavement, busstops, etc. Mind you, there's still a LOT of construction going on, so there still are traffic jams. But it's nice and -for what I've heard- a lot nicer than 10 years ago. - pbase.com/thur 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

Caballista says on Nov 26, 2005, 15:21: Bogota is much better than the city that I left 14 years ago, and thank god it is not perfect; it is not cold like before, the weather is perfect.
