Happy Happy Happy

On Sunday, July 24, 2005 in Miami, Florida in front of a small gathering of friends and family, I married the sweet Colombiana who I met in Bogota on a cool evening just over 2 years ago.

I would like to thank all the members of this forum for all the information and support. When, I thought that Nancy would never get up here, I often turned to this forum to get my fill of Colombia and often we would talk about things that I read here during our long phone conversations.

We will now wait out the process of changing her status here and when that is done, we will both travel back to the country that we both love so much.

Ditto on the congrats. I only hope you have the same happiness I have been fortunate enough to have for the past 11 years of wedded bliss to my Colombiana. Just don't let the honeymoon end.

Wow, my wife got her green card a couple of months ago. I guess I'm living on borrowed time.

UC Did you end up adjusting status here in the states?

I have the perfect solution to the vanishing green card bride. I spend all my money as we make it; so she can have all of my assets. One hundrend percent of nothing is equal to fifty percent of nothing which still equals nothing.

My wife also knows that I will replace her immediately; perhaps, with one of her sisters or nieces or good friends and that any of them would take me in half a Medellin second.

In the end; as you have so often stated, we both will have gotten what we were looking for.
