First of all, I'm not a troll, I've had this account for a really long time but i'd forgotten my username and password
I'm a 19 year old Colombian-American thinking about moving to Bogota this summer and I wanna know where young foreigners hang out? I'm probably going to attend Los Andes and I know of a few hostels around La Candelaria but I'm not really into hanging out with backpackers especially Israelis; I'm new to all of this and I wanna hang out with other foreigners that live in Bogota and that are going through the same; even though it's only going to be a semester i know it won't be easy.
I'm also looking for job while I'm in bog; money is not the issue but I need something to keep me busy and interested; maybe at a bar or something

guacharaca says on Apr 7, 2008, 18:04: You and another troll, Andrecito, have the same handwriting. So you have been in Colombia long enough to notice the difference between different types of backpackers and you are still 19? Not likely. shazam says on Apr 8, 2008, 06:27: Hostal Fatima in the Candelaria (you can find them on Facebook) is owned and operated by young (early 20's) Colombians who have all attended bilingual schools here and then studied and traveled abroad. They are super fun and knowledgeable.

One of the top schools in Latin America and you aren't certain? Maybe pop in on a few classes last minute? And maybe slop drinks at a bar while searching for the mythical gringo in Bogota? Good Plan dude!

Lauthra says on Apr 8, 2008, 08:37: La Caldelaria has a lot of foreigns, either living in Colombia or just passing by. However, a lot of them are interested in the same things, drugs and girls. Thera are some that aren't into that, hang out with them. I do recommend you hang out with Colombians, I mean, you're half Colombian and will be in colombia for half a year, might as well make the most of it as a Colombian experience, chances are most of the colombian students in Los Andes will have very good English. Just saying. Nato (='.'=) 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
