A new children's park has open at the north end of Armenia called "Hacienda Napoles." I am not completely sure about the name. I know it is not the Escobar Park and it is not the former home of Carlos Lederer near Salento.
This park is near the El Solar Restaurant and it is owned by an American or British person. My wife says he is American. Does anyone have information on this park and/or the guy who owns it? The Park itself looks like a great place for kids and it is fun to watch the hot air balloon go up.
Thanks for the help.

kingfish5515 says on Nov 5, 2009, 10:01: I have been to Hacienda Napoles and wrote a long trip report 2 months or so ago, search for it. But,,, the information as you have given here does not seem to fit where I went. HN is a colombian government owned park/zoo about 4 hours out of medellin and was once the home of Pablo Escobar but was confiscated by the government after his death. It is well worth the distance to visit and I highly reccomend visiting there. Kingfish
