Anyone got anything to say about the 2009 edition?

However it is not that accurate, some of the dates for festivals were wrong by months not days.

Hmmm, it shows the routes but that doesn´t mean they´re passable. It looks like a great big highway on the map but when you get there its more of a muddy trench. Be careful! On our last vacation we had three accidents, two of the mud-related (the other one was donkey-related- don´t worry animal-lovers, the donkey was ok)

3 accidents in one trip? That would say more about your driver than it would about the guide.

Ha, well, the donkey kind of leapt out on us at night, and the other times the bike skidded across the mud and we slipped over. I think we got off lightly actually, the roads were almost impassable unless you have a 4x4.
´Vive Colombia, viaja por ella´? Hmmm. Lots of talk but large swathes of Colombia are practically cut off, even tho the guia de rutas shows a promising thick line. Plus we checked on websites and they all said the road was fine. (friends warned us though, shouldve listened but wanted to go!)

Yes, the guia should have forewarned you about those pesky leaping donkeys ;)
