CatGirl, be aware that are many dictionaries out there. For example the word cute is also translated as mono in my Dictionary.

Pregnant = a. 1. preñada, embarazada, encinta, gravida.
2. (fig.) (gen. con with) preñado, prolifico, fecundo, lleno.
3. significativo, importante.

in Colombia we use mono, for "blondes" (todos en la familia son monos) (everybody in the family are blondes)

in Spain, they use it as "cute" (Que mono/a estas!) (how cute you look!)

in different parts of Spanish speaking countries " mono" is used as "monkey"( el mono se esta comiendo un banano.) (The monkey is eating a banana)

in Colombia "cute" is also used as "cuco" for ex: " Tan cuco el bebe!" (the baby is so cute)
