Gringo Pimps in Medellin

I just found someone on the Internet that I find very repulsive. There are two clowns who use the names "Aussie Greg" and "Medellin Bob" who are pimping girls in Medellin. They own two houses called "Medellin Mansion" and "Castillio" where they provide prostitutes to other gringo tourists. They even have a conference group on a pornographic website where people who stayed in these houses can exchange graphic photographs of these poor girls.

I welcome tourism to Colombia and Medellin. But what kind of scum are these two? They have websites for both of their houses but I am not going to post the link here. I am sure this is not a legal business in Colombia. I wonder if they are paying taxes and reporting to the government that they are "Gringo Pimps"?

Is this the new future of Medellin? To be over run by people like this? Why is the media not covering stories like this? On their pornographic website they are having a big discussion about if the age of consent is 18 or 14 for tourist.

I find it both incredible and repulsive.

Hey guy.... You might be jumping the gun a bit. Then again maybe not. Aussiegreg has posted here before. Check out this thread.

welcome To Latin America and the carribean. Maybe they will find some Colombian justice?

Jack The world is full of people you may not like for whatever reason. I would be careful about calling someone a pimp when that may, in fact, not be the case.

You wouldn't be another disgruntled competitor would you?

Far as I know they have no pornographic web site. You may be referring to ISG.

I hope the mods see this soon.

morphus says on May 20, 2006, 19:30:

I never been to the Mansion. I read the posts about the place on one of those adult travel websites. I like one post where some guy from Florida stayed at the Medellin Mansion and gave the place a bad review. He said Aussiegreg ripped him off. Then another guy(maybe one their affiliates) posted that next time he goes to Medellin he was going to be killed and sent home in a body bag. Too funny!

tomtom33 says on May 20, 2006, 19:31:

Jeez I missed the part about the body bag.

Gomezman5 says on May 20, 2006, 19:42:

Hey.....what kind of bull is this? I checked out the web site and they have a link to something called
Chicago's Bar/Restaurant/disco. They can do what they want there, but why the hell are they bring my city into it?

I should not be suprised, someone told me there was a whiskeria in the centro called "Chicago" or something like that. Supposedly it has a big sign over the entrance that says "Whiskeria Chicago"

medellinjack says on May 20, 2006, 19:54:

Might in fact not be a pimp? You got to be kidding man! On the website what I will not name Aussie has his own conference group. In that group people opening talk about the girls that were provided for them at the mansion. Aussie poses in photographs with his girls. They talk about the prices, they talk about the quality of sex, they talk about just about everything you could imagine a bunch of perverts would talk about.

I truly believe in women's rights and feel repulsed that a group of men would act like this in Colombia. We have so much o offer tourists, why must it be this?

Gomezman5 says on May 20, 2006, 20:10:

Jack.....uh...excuse me but I don't know what Colombia you have been to, but it does not sound like you know this country too well. Prostitution in all forms, is not exactly something that goes on undercover. Really guy. You just signed into this site so you can come on here and try and make people believe that Colombia is not riddled with hookers? Really? If you happen to be Colombian, have you been asleep for the past couple of decades?

So what, they guy runs a whore house. Who cares? Or does it just bother you that the guy happens to be an Aussie? If so, I give him credit for his entreprenrurial spirit...

Rubiazo says on May 20, 2006, 20:46:

at the OP- FYI PROSTITUTION IS LEGAL IN COLOMBIA!!
Why not try researching the facts before coming off like you went to school on the short bus.
You say you are into women's rights but I guess it escaped your little pea of a brain that exchanging sex for money is also a RIGHT!! I'm just glad the people that wrote the Colombian Constitution are a little more enlightened than you are.

As long as Aussie Greg et al are testing the girls regularly and not allowing anybody under 18 in there, and are duly registered with the DIAN they are not operating illegally in any way shape or form. Put that in your pipe and take a good long hard hit on it!!!

Speaking of which, the age of consent in Colombia is 14 but you have to be 18 to work as a prostitute. If you really are Colombian and don't know this maybe you need to go back to school!! If you're not Colombian, maybe it's time to wake up and realize that your silly little version of how things should be doesn't wash with everybody else on earth!

For the record, those places are TOTALLY not my style (I like it cheaper and dirtier ;P), and I don't like it when people like Aussie Greg spam on here because it's off-topic and a real corny way to drum up business. But yobs who come on here and flame him are doing his job for him ironically enough :)

Gomezman5 says on May 20, 2006, 22:50:

Rubi...I hope you are not calling me a pea brain You don't have to tell me that prostitution is legal in colombia. I am sure I knew that long before you ever booked your first flight to Colombia. Whether it's legal or not though, it's all over the place. Did you know there are plenty of places in thw world where it's not legal, yet law enforcement tends to look "the other way."

This guy Jack just doesn't make any sense.

at G5 the whole post was for the OP, not you. People who get onto moral high ground on which they don't belong really get on my last nerve ;P

Platano, those seem to me to be straight-up anti human trafficking legislations. I couldn't imagine them using that against somebody running a brothel. When the sex clubs in BOG were shut down, for example, it was for people not having their recent STD exams on file, and people under 18 working (with fake IDs). They also re-opened 3 days later :P

tomtom33 says on May 21, 2006, 08:30:

G5 Medellin Bob is from your fair city.

Jack,

I know neither Bob nor Greg nor have I ever been to the mansion. But I have no problem with their business. From what I understand they are not pimps. They do not take any part of the money paid to any girl. I kind of see it as a big frat house, Animal House.

Yes, girls are paid for sex. If this is so repugnant, I suggest that you stop reading ISG.

utopiacowboy says on May 21, 2006, 09:36:

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

me gusta bailar says on May 21, 2006, 10:05:

age of consent 14???!!! Really? omg.... twisted. No wonder there is some much foreign riff raff coming into COL looking for chicas. They want what they cannot have at home. Sick.

Rubiazo says on May 21, 2006, 10:27:

Totally and completely FALSE.

Show me ONE GODDAMN SHRED of evidence to support this. Legalized prostitution has actually had the OPPOSITE effect in big cities.

Rubiazo says on May 21, 2006, 10:30:

at me gusta bailar 14 is the age of consent for MARRIAGE! Or at the very least for a real relationship You can't just love and leave some 14 year old colegiada in Medellin. There is a separate statute against seducing a girl between 14 and 18 years of age, and it still means jail time if you're caught. Even if you had a bona fide relationship with a girl under 18, as a foreign national, who the hell is going to believe your ass in court?

All of which makes me glad I like women who have already been around the block a couple times :)

Hunter says on May 21, 2006, 12:03:

The Mansion is not a whore house, certainly working girls go there, but that is the same as any hotel etc, they don't work at the mansion, all the mansion provides is a play to stay and tells them where the working girls are to be found.

MedellinJack, prostition in Colombian and the rest of the world is big business, you say poor girls, but they are getting paid for what they do, over paid if gringos are involved compared with what they get off the local guys, in Medellin it is a VERY large businees, open your eyes next time you are there, I know both guys and they are registered for tax etc at DIAN.

Morphus, I remember the person complaning, it was a bit of a joke really, in fact I think he did it on purpose, because guess what he changed his handle and opened up another mansion in competion.

Rubiazo, I doubt that the mansion checks the girls, because they don't provide any as such.

The Big A, child prostition is in all cities, in fact you tend to find more child prostition away from tourist cities, because they don't want to get a bad name, AussieGreg is not married in Colombia at least.

tomtom33 says on May 21, 2006, 12:04:

bailar Have you looked at the age of consent for all the States in the US? The foreign riff raff can just go to certain States.

This talk of girls under 18 is crap. No one including Greg has advocated any such thing. If you want to be holier than thou, at least keep the discussion accurate.

Hunter says on May 21, 2006, 12:17:

The Big A Depends which do you mean, prostituion is 100% acceptable to me and should be completly legal, it would remove many problems associated with it.

Child prostituion should not be legal, if they really are children.

Hunter says on May 21, 2006, 12:34:

The Big A Its here choice to be a crack whore and how to support her kids, so it is 100% acceptable.

Hunter says on May 21, 2006, 12:42:

The Big A Its an addiction that they opted for, they made the choice to take the crack or whatever, don't expect any simpathy from me for addicts, they chose their way of life. They also opted to have kids, again a choice.

BUT what has this to do with it being legal, as I say if you legalise things prostition, drugs, alchol, many but not all the problems disappear.

There are jobs here as well, but they pay pitifully low. Many women make the decision to do this once or twice a month because they could make as much in a couple of hours as they would working a full month at 40 hours per week.

Everyone has their reasons. Some women do it because they actually enjoy it...the majority, no.

Unfortunately, most women don't save the money they earn or invest it. They spend it on clothing, vacations, cars, surgeries...when they finally look up and start struggling in their 30's, it is very difficult to start college or university after having been out of school for so long. Unless they simply luck out and find a man willing to take care of the woman and her kids, and also willing to overlook her past. It happens...but it is 1 in 100 odds against. They are much more likely to end up with someone who will abuse them or treat them like crap.
