From what i remember, there are 4 different buildings where you can sleep so you do get privacy. There are about 40 single beds & 3 doubles. It would actually make a great investment if anyone was interested in buying it as there is tonnes of space apart from the building where many more cabins could be built and still maintain privacy (6.420 M2 of space!). I wanted to do this but i am having trouble selling my house at the moment to raise the cash. Would be a great investment to anyone thinking about a hostel / finca business

The prices are for up to 30 People, not per person so it works out great for parties. SO if you only had 10 people, that´s only 40,000 per person for the weekend!

I was there for a birthday party (15s) and there was a band & BBQ going, great fun for all and cheap. There is also a big grass area where they have swings for the kids or they can play football. Like i say, there´s 6,420 M2 of space!

IT´s not cold there at all, even for Colombian standards.

Not a bad deal at all for a great party! I was looking at fincas in Titiribi for a party shack to hit on weekends. From like 7 millones for a small simple house on less than one hectare to 700 millones for literally half a mountain of god knows how many hectares.

NO traffic noise at all & not cold at night. No need for main service, there is a guy on site that will take care of anything that you need, he looks after the on site shop so that you don´t run out of things. There is a BBQ area which we did for the Sat night and we made a huge Sancocho for the Sunday.

The surrounding area is beautiful, not sure what other activities there are, the owner will know all that.

Spigmace: do you have web links for the fincas you were looking at? Just curious.

paul my GF is originally from there so we go there a lot to visit family that still lives there so wasnt via links but via locals out there as by car it is just under an hour and 15 minutes more by bus from terminal sur. When I say simple house, I mean simple house. The row type building with cement porch where each room has it´s door to the porch and each has one window out to the back. fabricated with all block, stucco on the outside only with the flakeboard/cardboard looking type tejas roof panels slanted from high in the back to low on the porch, with some electric cables nailed or siliconed to the walls and, voila, a house. But 7 millones with a nice view of the town and mountains and not so much upkeep. As the big finca had 100s of cows, horses, all types of vegetation grown to sell so you need farmhands and it becomes more a business than a place to relax.
