Gran Estacion in Ciudad Salitre while visiting Bogota

After the earthquake I thought I would walk over to the mall listed above. It turned out to be the biggest and fanciest mall I have yet to see in Colombia. I tried to take a photo inside but the security guard stopped me. (How will my employer ever know where to place the bomb now?)
I saw two interesting things that I have not seen before at this mall: 1) a live mannequin in the store window. 2) Security guards with no legs in wheel chairs (I think this is great).
I am not a shopper, but that food floor is the best I have seen too. I am glad I do not live close or I would be tempted every time I get hungry.

One of the main arquitechs son is handicap, therefore he had in mind people with disabilities.

That's nice...the idea of a "live" mannequin is very nuevo ;) - Seen this before, they must get tired though.

CatGirl I have some nice pics of that mall I took over a year ago. If you like I can send you some once I get settled in. The mall just happens to be only a few minutes away from where my g/f rents her apartment.

I didn't see the live mannequin when I was there but I love that mall. I had the best bandeja paisa for lunch from one of those fast food restaurants. And the movie theaters were great! Can't wait to go back.

It depends, I'm sure my niece would argue with you if she's starts talking about El Salitre. There's no other mall like it in her eyes and I can totally see why but she's still under five.
