Good news!!!

Just received my approval for mi reina's 129-f petition!!! Can't explain how happy this is making me. Just figured I'd share this with y'all (damn, I must have been here in Texas long enough so my english has gone to hell). Jaja. Anyway, I am "wicked" happy right now (a Massachusetts-ism).

Congratulations! Hope the rest of the Visa process goes smoothly for you guys! If you haven't done so already, you might want to check out VisaJourney.com for tons of info and hundreds of other folks sharing their Visa stories.

Congrats. The rest of the time will go quicker than you think. For me it was about 5 months. My fiancee has her appointment at the consulate next Wednesday! Hang in there - good luck.

Thanks for the congrats. I have been reading visajourney from the start of the process, it is a great resource. Anyone going through this process should be using this site.
RJ, you must be feeling pretty happy right now, too. I am glad for you and can't wait to be in your position. But, one question. Are you saying 5 months from NOA2 till interview? My math based on vj processing times says avg. time for processing from NOA2 till interview is 94 days at Bogota embassy. Anybody else?
Yes, I suppose all of you who have gone through this or are going through it now know that as I write this, my anxiety level is still high. Jaja. It must be hilarious from the outside to see how we obsess about this stuff. Still, I am very happy to finally have some progress here (the waiting from NOA1 till NOA2 is like a desolate no-mans land of worry. Did they lose my file? Will I have to wait till I am outside of processing time to get any info? What if, what if....).

For me, the time between NOA2 and the interview was about 60 days. The long wait is between the NOA1 and NOA2. After NOA2, prepare for things to happen quickly. After you find out that the package was sent to Bogota from the NVC, have your fiancee fill out the package 3 forms (get them off of Visa journey), and fax and mail them to the consulate. If this is done before the 20th of any given month, it pretty much guarantees a next month interview date. If you can't find any of the forms from package 3, pm me and I can get them to you. In other words, don't wait for your lady to receive the package 3. If you are proactive, you can reduce your wait time potentially up to a month. Again, good luck.
