Two of the best places on the Pacific are a short distance from Bahia Solano, El Valle (45 minutes in jeep) with places like www.almejal.com.co or Playa De Huina (30 minutes in lancha) where you can stay at Refugio Mr Jerry. Their website isn´t up right now but they can be emailed at: mrjerrybahiasolano at telesat.com.co. Since Semana Santa is around the corner best bet is to call: 57-2-3309562 in Cali or cel:315-537-9354 ask for Yaneth. Highly recomended. I was there a month ago. The third option is Nuquí. At Playa de Huina there is hotel Playa de Oro as well, which I enjoyed very much(http://www.hotelesdecostaacosta.com/?micro2=playadeo).
But I would say stick to ladrilleros or Pianguita if staying closer to the cheap side.
