Good Avianca fare ATL-BOG $324 RT

Attention anyone living in Atlanta, or able to creatively connect through ATL: right now AV has some very good fares for ATL-BOG in May. Comes to $324 round-trip including taxes/fees and works on the DL operated nonstop flight (AV codeshare). I checked Memorial Day weekend. Available other dates too.

BOOK QUICKLY as this one might be gone by the next fare filing. Is currently bookable on Expedia but not Orbitz. And please, PLEASE DO NOT CALL AVIANCA WHILE THIS FARE IS STILL BOOKABLE!

Other South America cities also available from ATL with a connection in BOG. Quito and Lima both price out about the same.

People who don't live in Atlanta may still find it worthwhile to take advantage of these fares by buying a 2nd separate R/T ticket between their hometown and ATL to connect. Works best if you live in a city where Airtran has pushed down fares in the market...

I feel like a chump for buying my ticket in advance. I didn't get hosed too bad but there are som many ways to get to Colombia. I'm paying $1006 Calgary to Bogota return. I suppose not stopping in the states is worth $100 each way for the problems that can arise. I go though enough in Canada.

Has anyone heard of deals from Cuba or Dominican to Colombia or maybe Caracas? It's so cheap to those countries from Canada and they would be great places to stop.

Has anyone heard of flights from Caracas to Barranquia, Santa Marta or less prefebly Cartegena? I couldn't find any.
