Going to Medellin in March

Hi everyone, I'm new to the site... I've been reading quite a few posts and they are very interesting. I live in Miami and me and my 2 colombian friends will be visiting Medellin for 10 days in March right before semana santo. The last time they were in Colombia they were young so I would rather not rely on them to take us around... WHERE should we go to PARTY??? Thanks in advance for all your help...

- Zona Rosa in El Poblado, around (two blocks in all directions) Parque Lleras, it´s full of cafes, good restaurants, bars and clubs. The area is packed on fridays and saturdays in the evening. You can walk all over the area.

- Las Palmas: near El Poblado, there are several good clubs, some good restaurants. In this area you need a car (taxi) to go from one place to another.
