Going to Medellin in a week and a half....

Lagotur is a resort in Jeronimo a village located about 1 1/2-2 hours outside Medellin. I've stayed there and its very nice. There's a lake, pools, activities. The weather is much hotter than Medellin, though. Its tierra caliente. They have some typed of fruit that you don't find in Medellin, and when I was there I picked a bucket full of Mangos from the mango trees outiside my room:) The village of Jeronimo itself is not very interesing, people go to the fincas and resorts for the hot weather, to swim and relax. However, Santa Fe de Antioquia is located just a half hour or so from Jeronimo and would highly recommend taking a day trip to see it. Santa Fe de Antioquia is the old colonial capital of the region and is beautiful.

What I know Lagotur is located in Santa Fe de Antioquia, there's pools in there and a lot to do, the weather is hot, there's a lot of partying going on in there. I think you will have a lot of fun in there, if you like hot weather it's nice because you can spend some time in the wonderful pools they have.

Yes! I have been to Santa Fe on two occasions! It was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! Indeed a GREAT place to party! This time, however, I will be with the entire family, so it will be more toned down and not so much drinking, dancing, etc. Thanks to you all! Cali, I will take your number!!!!!
