Going to laos

I know this is only relating to COlombia, i am Colombian andmy girlfriend is from loas and we are planing on going to Laos for vacations, she hasn't been there since she was a little girl, we need help finding affordable tickes and hotel, can anyone give me an advise please, thanks in advance for your help

it's probably cheaper.. to book a plane ticket to Vietnam(Ho Chi Minh) or Thailand(bangkok) first. THEN when you're in either cities go to a travel agency(tons of them) and get ticket/hotel to Laos. Traveling withing south east asia is pretty cheap. I'm living in VN now, and I can get a 5 day/night vacation package(air fare/hotel/food) from HCM to Bangkok, for 260 USD! SO dont bother booking over the internet to Laos, you'll pay more.
