Going for it! Moving to Cali!

I`ve had enough of this grey,grey country.The decision has been made,we are selling up and relocating to cali which is where my wife is from.I`ve been visiting colombia for 16 years and i love it and its people. Is there any ex brits out there who are now living in cali that can give me any tips or helpful info on how to get along or where to go to meet other english speakers whenever i get pissed off with speaking spanish all the time.move planned for the spring.goodbye grim london...hello sunny cali.

Not sure where to find other English speakers but I have heard that centers were English is thought or schools is a good start.

Colegio Colombo Britanico should be a good start for trying to locate other Brits in Cali. Another option is just paying a visit to the local representant of your government (there's a consulate) they usually have some idea of countrymen/women living in the area, especially long-time residents.

Moving to Cali Hello fugdis. The last time you played with my computer you changed the font with the result that I now have great difficulty in reading the forum postings as the font is so tinsywinsy small. Is there any danger that you may fix this problem before the big move to Cali???
