Hi there!
I know there is a restaurant downtown Bogota called Giuseppe Verdi. I was wondering if any of you guys have dinned there, is it good? is it expensive? do I have to make any booking?
I am planning to "invitar a almorzar" my colombian family there (that's one of their favorite restaurants) , I've been searching on the internet information about this italian restaurant with no success. I would like to have as much information as possible on this since I want to have a good time with my friends there.
Should you have any comments... pls let me know.
Thnks

Cerealkiller says on Jul 7, 2007, 02:35: Gabolicious, I have never eaten there. I know exactly where it is...Calle 122 con 17 or so, the restaurant itself is a bit old. They do have some tables outside and a little bar...Ive gotten a little tipsy there, never had any food. But just by the looks of it I would assume there are nicer italian restaurants in Bogota. Cerealkiller says on Jul 7, 2007, 13:17: Gabolicious, it depends on the kind of food they like. San Isidro (in Monserrate) is a wonderful restaurant. I dont know how expensive it is cause my parents always pay, the food is essentially french....Id reccomend it, it is certainly a wonderful place...do take them at night though to enjoy the view... Might be ones with similar names, memory bug, flaw in the Yellow Pages, etc. Make sure it's the same place. goin_south says on Jul 7, 2007, 14:32: This is a somewhat related question, that I had a few weeks ago, and even one or two colombians I asked, really couldn't answer: DOES COLOMBIA HAVE THE EQUIVALENT OF 411 (USA) or, 'directory assistance' for calling to find a phone number for either a person or a business? And, if so... then what is it? What number(s) do you dial? Other? Where do we go from here? 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
