Getting from Barranquilla Airport to Downtown Santa Marta

Hello PBHr's

I have a question:
I'm arriving at BAQ airport I want to know if anyone knows the easiest,cheapest, safest way for me and my luggage to get to downtown Santa Marta?

I'm no Colombia novice and I did once take a van (shuttle) from Cartagena to Santa Marta. The van stopped in Barranquilla but for the life of me I don't remember the shuttle company and I didn't have to pick it up from Barranquilla airport like I will have to this time. I never spent time in Barranquilla just a 5 minute pit stop.

I'd like to just hop of the plane at noon and get my ass to Santa Marta as I will have all my luggage I don't really care to spent a night in Barranquilla. I'm assuming a taxi would be way more expensive. I don't know if they have a shuttle straight from the airport but that would be ideal.

If anyone with information could give me any suggestions (or a lift for that matter) it would be greatly appreciated.

You could just take a cab to the Terminal De Transporte and catch the next bus to Santa Marta. Should be in Santa marta by late afternoon.
